Biscay Marine Energy Platform (BIMEP) is an infrastructure operating in real marine conditions for the research, demonstration and operation of marine energy collector devices. BiMEP manages two sites: BiMEP site, a grid-connected offshore test site off the coastal town of Armintza; and Mutriku site, a test site at the Mutriku Wave Energy Plant. BiMEP, promoted by Basque Energy Agency (EVE) and by the Instituto para la Diversificación y el Ahorro de Energía (IDEA), is a key project in the Basque strategy in marine energies

Wavepiston A/S is a Danish limited company and The sole purpose of the company is to exploit and disseminate the Wavepiston wave energy technology to be competitive with the other renewable energy technologies. The foundation for the Wavepiston concept was laid in 2006, where the founding members started analysing wave energy converters and the reasons for the lack of breakthrough. In 2009, the concept of Force Cancellation was patented.

Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) is a public legal entity in accordance with the Higher Education and Research Act (WHW). The main tasks include providing scientific education, conducting scientific research, transferring knowledge to society and promoting social responsibility. TU Delft has long-standing expertise is numerical spectral modelling, offshore structures, coastal modelling and hydraulics.

Over the last 18 years of activity, Aquatera has established a global reputation as one of the leading consultancies in the ocean energy sectors. Aquatera is one of the most experienced marine energy environmental and technical contractors in the world; having worked on over 250 marine energy studies and a number of strategic marine energy planning projects.

Julia F. Chozas, Consulting Engineer was established in 2013 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company provides consultancy and training services to advance offshore renewable energy projects, with a special focus on techno-economic analyses of wave and offshore wind energy, and the integration of these resources into electricity markets and in future energy systems.

Yavin Four Consultants is a specialist engineering consultancy with unique industry knowledge and expertise in the wave, tidal and floating offshore wind energy sectors. The team at Yavin Four Consultants have a strong heritage in the offshore renewables sector, having worked for a mix of start-up and large engineering consultancies, leading technology developers and investment firms. The Yavin Four Consultants’ team have also played a leading role in a number of innovative research and development projects at European level.
