AVL hosts VALID consortia meeting

This summer, the VALID consortia was able to gather for our first in-person meeting of the project. Following the easing of pandemic restrictions, our partners travelled from across Europe to come together at the AVL headquarters in Graz, Austria for a two-day meeting.

AVL welcomed the group with a tour of their facility, our wave energy developers came together to discuss VALID's three user cases, and partners weighed in on the progress and challenges of creating a hybrid testing methodology and platform.

We welcome more opportunities for in-person collaboration as VALID progresses to the halfway mark of the project.
